IBEW 1900 Reaches Agreement at Washington Gas Frederick Unit

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)IBEW 1900 reached 3-year tentative agreement at Washington Gas’ Frederick unit, after negotiating since June. The agreement included wage increases “along with job and retirement security for all three years for both the physical and clerical units,” the local reported. “In addition new classifications were created to allow individuals to progress up to a lead position in both of the respective units which breaks a 20 year ceiling for which the units were restricted from growth.” A ratification vote was scheduled for Friday July 29.
