MontCo Cuts Disability Benefits for Police

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The Montgomery County Council yesterday passed legislation imposing reduced disability benefits for police officers. George Leventhal  was the only “No” vote on Bill 45-10, which the Metro Washington Council in an Action Alert blasted earlier this week as “anti-labor, anti-union and anti-public worker” and an  attack on collective bargaining and Montgomery County public employees.
