Friday, June 10, 2011(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)
“This year more than ever is a critical time shore up our
networks and enhance our ability to really impact and reach the communities that
have been hardest hit economically and politically,” says the Labor Heritage
Foundation’s Darryl Moch, who notes that the LHF’s Great Labor Arts
Exchange, Conference on Creative Organizing and Camp Solidarity kicks off at the
National
Labor College next Friday, June 17. “Now more than ever the Labor and
progressive movements need our experience, expertise, and creative input. Please
join us as we celebrate the arts and culture of our movements, hone our creative
organizing and arts skill sets and prepare to bring direct action and infuse the
movement with our heart, soul, and synergy as we move into the next phase of our
fight for the working class, middle class, and the disenfranchised in our nation
and around the world.” Click
