Rally Against Rhee, Walker & Corbett Today

Controversial former DC schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee, governors Scott Walker and Tom Corbett are the target of community and education activists from Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC at today’s 11:30A demo outside the Washington Marriott to protest and “expose the billionaire DeVos family crusade to dismantle public education,” according to Keystone Progress.  “The American Federation for Children (AFC), which is hosting Walker, Corbett and Rhee, is a group founded by the conservative DeVos family and a small core group of donors ideologically opposed to public education. Walker and Corbett are carrying the water for DeVos and AFC, attacking teachers and students while gutting public education funding and silencing their voices.” Click here for details.
