This Saturday, you can enjoy an evening of soul-warming labor music while supporting homeless women. The DC Labor Chorus’ annual Spring Concert – “Songs of Struggle and Joy,” scheduled for 8P this Saturday at Luther Place Memorial Church  - will raise funds for Bethany Women of Praise, a choral group affiliated with the Bethany Women's Center which provides basic services such as meals, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, recreation and case management for homeless women. Tickets are $20 per person, although “no one will be turned away,” says the DC Labor Chorus.
