Stan Gordon (r), AFGE 65, is the 2010 Evening with Labor Thomas
M. Bradley Community Services Award winner. Gordon, an original member of the
Board of Trustees of CSA since its founding in 1991, “has been a stalwart and
consistent supporter of the Agency and all of its programs for twenty years,”
says CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. “He provided valuable
professional support to the CSA Director as the new agency was getting off the
ground in 1991, has actively volunteered over the years on fundraising and
community events, and helped connect the Agency into programs of the Labor
Participation Office of the American Red Cross, including its disaster
operations.” Additionally, as the current president of the National Capital
Area Union Retirees, Gordon has ensured generous contributions to United Way,
earmarked to the Agency, from NCAUR members. Deadline for EWL Program Book ads
