Is union-made candy sweeter than non-union treats? The Bakery Workers, UFCW and UFW think so. Show your love – and solidarity – this Valentine’s Day by buying union-made candy. “When you're searching for something sweet for that special person for Valentine's Day, why not buy union-made-in-America treats for them,” says Union Plus. “As with a lot of traditionally union-made products, more and more are being cross-produced (union-non-union; US-Mexico), so be sure to read labels to ensure that your candy is union-made in the United States.” Union Plus has compiled a handy list of union-made candy products, snack foods and fruit and nuts. - photo courtesy Radio One
