Grammy Nominee Christyles Bacon At JwJ Fundraiser

Catch local hip-hop artist and Grammy nominee Christyles Bacon (at left) at a DC Jobs with Justice fundraiser this Friday. Bacon is performing at Uptown Friday, a weekly showcase and fundraiser for progressive artists and organizations. Christyles is a multi-instrumentalist from Southeast, Washington, DC who multi-tasks between various instruments such as the West African djembe drum, acoustic guitar, and the human beat-box (oral percussion), while continuing the oral tradition of storytelling through his lyrics.
