The upcoming Special Election and DC legislative initiatives
highlight tonight's Metro Washington Council Committee
on Political Education (COPE) monthly meeting. Sekou Biddle (r) has
been tapped by the DC Democratic State Committee to fill Kwame Brown's seat as
an At-Large City Council member and "Come April, there will be a Special
Election city-wide and Biddle will have a tough race against former Council
member Vincent Orange and several other contenders," says Metro Council
Assistant Political Coordinator Alya Solomon. At tonight's meeting, the DC COPE
