MD General Assembly Legislative Conference Today

The Maryland State and District of Columbia AFL-CIO 2011 Maryland General Assembly Legislative Conference will begin at 9A today and is scheduled to conclude at 12P - not 9:30A to 3:30P as previously reported. "All local unions are encouraged to send a representative to this important legislative strategy and planning session," says the MD/DC AFL-CIO. "The State Fed and guest presenters will lead discussions on the legislative action plan that will help us grow the union movement in Maryland and the District of Columbia and benefit working families.
