Lucky Dub Plays DC JwJ Benefit Tonight

Local reggae band Lucky Dub joins artist-in-residence Tarica
June for a benefit
concert tonight to support the work of DC Jobs with Justice. "We come
from all walks of life, and musical influences, from reggae, funk and world to
ska, rock alternative, and hip/hop to create a sound to get down to," says DC
JwJ organizer Isaiah Toney, the bands' saxophone player. The concert starts at
8P at the recently opened Ras Restaurant & Café (4809 Georgia Avenue, NW).
Sliding scale suggested donations $10-$40 “but no one will turned away for
