The future of workers is on the line today as voters go to the
polls in races up and down the ballot at the local, state and national levels.
Here's where and how to plug in:
VOTING: Click

the list of local labor-endorsed
candidates.
VOLUNTEERING: "Volunteers will distribute
literature to labor households between 7 and 10 this morning in Prince
George's County and will then fold into the Democratic Party's coordinated
campaign to help get voters out to the polls in Fort Washington," Metropolitan
Washington Council, AFL-CIO Legislative and Political Coordinator Rick Powell
tells Union City. Additionally, union members will be hitting
the streets and working
the phones in Northern Virginia. "No time to pat ourselves on the
back," urges NoVa Labor Federation President Dan Duncan. "The push to get out
the vote must continue until the polls close!"
