You can always check our political calendar postings, updated daily with the latest phone banks, walks and other activities. Plus, each day through Election Day, we’ll also highlight a local activity or two we think is especially noteworthy. TODAY'S PICK: the AFL-CIO Phonebank: volunteers have been cranking out an impressive number of calls – 16,000 as of late last week -- spurred on by the high stakes in the upcoming mid-term elections and the weekly raffle drawings are a nice bonus too! Phone banks operate from 1P - 4P and again from 5:30P - 8:30P Monday through Thursday.
