DC Voting Rights Summit

Metro Council President Jos Williams will join a panel of top DC community leaders tomorrow at the Public Welfare Foundation's "DC Voting Rights Summit" to discuss the impact that the lack of true congressional representation has on public policy and DC residents. The summit will be held at the True Reformer Building, 1200 U Street, NW from 8:30 to 11A. Other panelists include top executives from the National League of Cities, The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, PEPCO and Planned Parenthood. The panel will also discuss ideas for taking advantage of the "unprecedented level of congressional attention to this issue."
