CSA Emergency Assistance Fund 'Tremendous Help'

“Thank you for overseeing a wonderful program for union members such as this,” writes a recent client of the Community Services Agency’s (CSA) Emergency Assistance Fund. “I didn’t know about many of the services offered but I’m glad I inquired because it was a tremendous help to have my utility bill taken care of while I’m out sick.” The Fund – supported through local union contributions and the CSA’s bowling and golf tournaments and Labor Nights at the Nats – provides financial assistance to nearly 200 union members each year who are struggling with an unexpected financial crisis.
