Ad Deadline for DC JwJ Awards Today

Today's the last chance to reserve space in the program book ad for the 2008 DC Jobs with Justice (JwJ) "I''ll Be There Awards," reports DC JwJ Organizer Ruth Castel-Branco. Award recipients for this year's event include Metro Council President Jos Williams, Foundry United Methodist Church, Empower DC, and Mary Spencer and Mark Borbely. The sixth annual awards ceremony and annual fundraiser for DC JwJ honors individuals and organizations for exceptional solidarity work in the Metro DC area while raising funds to support the work of DC JwJ.
