Fairness unites two events today. Labor will demand fair trade reform and a fair contract for thousands of University of California workers at two afternoon events today in the District. CWA President Larry Cohen, Teamsters President James Hoffa Jr., and Congressmembers will call for US trade policy reforms that provide good jobs, safe food and protect human rights and the environment at 11:45A in Upper Senate Park. Then at 1P, labor activists will rally outside the University of California's (UC) DC Center in downtown DC to support thousands of UC workers who have been fighting for a fair contract for ten months (Solidarity Rally for UC Workers Wednesday 6/2/08 UC).
