McCain Tagged as Bush Clone at DC Demo

"McSame as Bush! McSame as Bush!" chanted the nearly 100 activists who turned out for Tuesday's after-work demonstration outside a John McCain fundraiser at the posh Willard Intercontinental Hotel. As well-dressed attendees picked their way through the demonstrators, chants of  "Hey McCain, what's to hide? Corporate lobbyists are inside" filled the spring evening air and echoed off the Willard's marbled façade. Similar demonstrations have been organized at McCain appearances across the country in recent weeks to highlight his record as a Bush clone and Metro Council President Jos Williams pledged to rally local activists to return whenever McCain does.
