Applications are still being accepted for this year's STITCH Women's
Language Delegation to Guatemala. The delegation - scheduled for June 7-15 -
will take an in-depth look at the effects of globalization and immigration on
women workers and explore solidarity tactics North American consumers and
activists can take to support workers' struggles. Delegates will also receive
one-on-one Spanish language instruction, meet with Guatemalan women workers and
activists fighting for global justice, and travel to banana plantations to hear
from workers affected by free trade policies. The delegation is open to women
only; applications are due by April 14. For more info or for an application,
