Street Theater for Paid Sick Leave

DC Jobs with Justice hosts a free street theater training and planning session this Saturday afternoon for an action before the vote on the paid sick leave bill Tuesday, March 4. Basav Sen of the theater collective ACT will conduct the training, taking participants through basic theater exercises, character and situation brainstorms, and prop and scenario designs. Workshop participants will develop a skit to perform in front of Councilmembers during the final vote on the paid sick leave bill. No prior experience with street theater necessary.
