Saving Pensions

Monday, February 25, 2008

The attack on pensions and the fight to save them is the focus of a discussion and book-signing tomorrow with economist and author Teresa Ghilarducci. Ghilarducci's new book, "When I'm 64: The Plot Against Pensions and the Plan to Save Them," explains how to confront this crisis head-on, revealing the causes behind the increasingly precarious economics of old age in America and proposing "a bold plan to improve retirement security for every working citizen." The event is sponsored by AFSCME and the Jerry Wurf Memorial Fund.
