Labor on the Move: Alya Mbamba Joins CSA

Alya Mbamba is the new Assistant Program Coordinator at the Community Services Agency of the Metropolitan Washington Council. Mbamba's most recent position was as Community Liaison/Special Events Coordinator for Congressman Al Wynn since 2002; she previously worked as a political organizer for Progressive Maryland. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Indianapolis and is currently completing an MA in Communications from Johns Hopkins University. Her hobbies include salsa dancing. "We're thrilled to welcome Alya to the Community Services Agency," said CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. "Her enthusiasm, skills and experience will help us serve our affiliates and their members even better in these challenging times."
