Labor on the Move (1/3/08)

The Jews United for Justice has hired Jacob Feinspan as its first full-time Executive Director. A rising star in the progressive Jewish Community, Feinspan was recently named one of five "New Jewish Leaders to Watch" by the Professional Leaders Project. His career includes public policy advocacy at the national level with American Jewish World Service and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. He was recently published in the groundbreaking anthology Righteous Indignation: A Jewish Call for Justice which features articles by leading and emerging Jewish intellectuals, activists, and communal leaders about social and environmental justice concerns.
