Free Tea for DC Voting Rights

Friday, December 14, 2007

DC voting rights activists will commemorate the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party with their own version on the Potomac River this Sunday. "If we have to keep fighting for our rights, we might as well have some fun doing it," says Ann Hoffman of DC Vote. DC voting rights activists will join Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton for free tea - made with "End Taxation Without Representation" teabags - and donuts.
