(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Seventy white-collar DC Public Schools employees - architects, project managers and others in the DCPS Facilities Division -- voted to join Teamsters Local 730 on Tuesday. "We've been working with this group for some time," Local 730 Secretary-Treasurer John Woodall told UNION CITY late Thursday, "and when they got a chance to vote union they did so unanimously." The new unit covers 100 positions.
