Rally Targets Verizon

Communication workers will rally Tuesday at 5:30P to draw attention to Verizon's poor service. The communications giant is also being hit for not offering its high-speed fiber optic service (FiOS) in the District. The rally is part of CWA's "Speed Matters - Connect D.C." campaign and is also intended to show the union's power as they bargain the 2008 CWA-Verizon contract.
