Holiday Life Savers

Give the gift of life this holiday season at Monday's blood drive at the AFL-CIO. The drive is being hosted by the AFL-CIO and the unionized Washington Hospital Center. "Giving blood is reasonably painless and there is a huge need," says Bonnie Oakes of the AFL-CIO and coordinator of the drive. Help yourself while helping others: donors will receive their blood profile to make sure you are in good health for the holidays.
