U-Liners Bring Hope, Peace, and Justice for the Holidays

Longtime labor organizer Joe Uehlein's band, The U-Liners, will celebrate the release of their first full-length recording on Saturday, December 1 at the IOTA Club in Arlington, VA.  "We'll play the tunes from the CD, including new originals, new arrangements of old, and rare, gems, and some fave band standards," promises Uehlein. The tracks on the new recording "embody the U-Liners' unique fusion of roots-rock and Americana with much-needed themes of hope, peace, and justice," Uehlein tells UNION CITY. The CD will be available at the show, and at cdbaby.com after 12/3/07, just in time for holiday shopping time.
