Labor Chorus to Release New CD

The DC Labor Chorus will release its second CD at its annual "Evening of Favorite and Sacred Songs" on December 8. The concert playlist covers a range of musical interests, from the CD title song, Sweet Honey in the Rock’s “I Feel Like Going On” to Laura Nyro’s “Save the Country” and James Taylor’s “Shed a Little Light.”  “Folks attending one of our concerts for the first time often don’t know exactly what to expect,” says Music Director Elise Bryant, “but they invariably tell us they love what we do.” The free concert takes place at the National Labor College in Silver Spring.
