MD/DC State Fed Leg Conf Today

Hundreds of Maryland and DC union members will gather today at the Maryland State/DC AFL-CIO Legislative Conference to put together a legislative action plan to grow the union movement across the region. "All local unions are encouraged to send a representative to this important legislative strategy and planning session," says the Maryland State/DC AFL-CIO. Registration -- which includes conference materials, a continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments -- is $35 and will be taken at the door at the National Labor College.
