CBTU Seeks Donations for Gift-Wrap

The DC Coalition of Black Trade Unionists' (DC-CBTU) is collecting donations now for its annual shoebox gift-wrapping on Saturday, December 15. "We still need shoeboxes and other items," including personal hygiene, non-perishable food, gloves, small sewing kits, and extras for kids, like crayons, jacks, and jump ropes, says Gwend Johnson of DC-CBTU. The annual event helps supply hundreds of shoebox gift packages for So Others Might Eat's holiday handout to needy DC families. Click here for a full list of recommended donations.
