Delegate Meeting Tonight!

Don't miss tonight's Metro Council Delegate meeting! Get the latest updates on upcoming labor actions and events at tonight's short meeting, which will run from 6:30 to 7:30P. Immediately following the meeting, long-time Community Services Agency (CSA) Program Coordinator Jackie Barnes will be honored at a farewell reception from 7:30-8:30P in the Gompers Room of the AFL-CIO. After 12 years of service to the Community Services Agency, Barnes is moving on to head up a re-entry program for ex-offenders at Southeast Minstries in DC. “Jackie has done a lot over the years for most of the Metro Council affiliates and for thousands of area union members and families,” says CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy. “She will be greatly missed.”
