Final Day for 'Unembedded'

Thursday, November 8, 2007

Today is the final day to catch “Unembedded” at the AFL-CIO. The exhibit includes 60 images from four “unembedded” photojournalists and facts on the war's effect on human health and the environment in Iraq, as well as its impact on returning American veterans, their families, and communities. “Every day, we see images from the war in Iraq, but seldom do we see what the war has done to the lives of ordinary Iraqis,” reports James Parks on the AFL-CIO Now Blog website. This exhibit delivers “the message that the war is taking a terrible toll on the lives” of Iraqis, Parks reports. Click here to read Parks’ full story.
