The Metro Washington Council has endorsed Mark Cook’s candidacy for College Park (MD) City Council. “Mark has been someone we have been watching over the past few years,” said Council President Jos Williams. “He supports labor goals of improving the quality of life for residents of College Park and the county by making it possible for more workers to join unions. Mark will make an excellent partner on the College Park City Council." The Council will coordinate local labor efforts to turn out the College Park union vote for Cook in the November 6 election, including phone-banking and lit-dropping on Saturday, November 3 from 10A to 2P and Get Out The Vote efforts on Election day from 4:30-7:30P in College Park.
