Ad Deadline for DC JWJ Awards Event Extended

The deadline for submitting program book ads for the November 8th "I'll Be There Awards" has been extended to this Friday, October 26th. The annual fundraiser event for DC Jobs with Justice honors labor and community leaders for their solidarity work. This year’s honorees include Karen Minatelli of the DC Employment Justice Center, Walda Katz-Fishman of Howard University and Project South, DC Councilmember Phil Mendelson, and students at American University who helped their bus drivers unionize.
