Thursday, October 18, 2007

The Library of Congress Professional Guild, AFSCME Local 2910 is holding an Open Forum on "Defending Employee Rights and Union Rights at the Library of Congress" this Thursday, October 18. J. Kent Dunlap, Guild Chief Negotiator and Barbara Kraft, Attorney at Law, Kraft, Eisenmann and Alden, will address worker's rights to speak with their union privately and confidentially. The Guild has been battling demands by management at the Library of Congress that the Guild maintain - and make available to management -- records including the names of employees who turn to the Guild for assistance, as well as a description of their concerns.
