Labor's New Search Tool

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Unionists now have a new tool to help them search for information on the Internet. SoliComm is a specialized Web search engine focusing on over 400 labor and labor-related web sites. If you're looking for training material on labor's polices and action plans about HIV/AIDS, for example, a Google search for "HIV/AIDS" would generate 25 million hits, while a SoliComm search would automatically focus exclusively on labor sites, yielding fewer and more targeted results.
