Honorees Named for JWJ "I'll Be There" Awards

For the fifth year running, DC Jobs with Justice will honor labor and community allies for their solidarity during its "I'll Be There" Awards. This year's awardees include DC Councilmember Phil Mendelson, Karen Minatelli of the DC Employment Justice Center, Walda Katz-Fishman of Howard University and Project South, and members of the American University Solidarity Committee, who helped win union recognition for bus drivers on their campus. The awards will be held on November 8th at the AFL-CIO building from 5:30-7:30P.
