New Exec VP to Door-Knock in VA Saturday

Newly-appointed AFL-CIO Executive Vice President Arlene Holt Baker will join Northern VA CLC President Dan Duncan, AFL-CIO Political Director Karen Ackerman, Metro Washington Council President Jos Williams and other area labor leaders and activists this Saturday, October 6th to knock on labor household doors in Northern Virginia. The canvas is the latest in a series to provide information on endorsed State Senate and House candidates. Walks from the NoVa CLC office will go to union households in Fairfax and Loudoun counties and, starting October 13th, will expand to walks in Prince William County from the Prince William Federation of Teachers office in Lake Ridge.
