Golf Tourney Recharges Emergency Fund

Eighty-three golfers turned out Monday for a perfect fall day on the course at the 12th annual Community Services Agency’s Golf Tournament. The tournament raised urgently-needed funds for the CSA’s Emergency Assistance Fund, which is out of money and has had to seriously curtail direct assistance until the Fund is replenished. Tourney winners included Michael Vaughn (Longest Drive), James Stewart (Straightest Drive), Ryan Curry (closest to pin at Hole #4), Barry Beaulieu (closest to the pin at Hole #13) and the OneNet team (with a score of 56): Bob & Jones Tallent, Gary Honey and Howard Board.
