Driving for Help

Friday, September 21, 2007

Golfers can drive, chip and putt while helping raise much-needed funds for the Community Services Agency's (CSA) Emergency Assistance Fund. Proceeds from the October 1 CSA Golf Tournament benefit the Fund, which is out of money. "This year's event is critical to maintaining the important services we provide to union members through the Emergency Assistance Fund," said CSA Executive Director Kathleen McKirchy, wiping sweat away during a staff goodie bag assembly line (see photo). "And even if you are not a golfer, you can still have a great time while raising money for an important cause." Sponsorships levels are $2500, $2000 and $1700; Foursomes are $450. All sponsorship levels and foursomes include a golf cart, banquet tickets and more! For more info, contact Kathleen McKirchy, 202-974-8221; kmckirch@dclaborarchives.org
