"No Sweat" Screens Friday

The 2007 DC Labor Filmfest unofficially begins this Friday with a free noontime screening of "No Sweat" at the AFL-CIO. The hour-long documentary follows American Apparel and Sweat X and their workers for one year as they grapple with trying to maintain "sweat-free" practices in the cutthroat garment industry. "No Sweat" is the first of six free screenings in September and early October leading up to the official Labor FilmFest October 7-17.
