(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Prince George’s County officials and representatives of Dimensions – operator of the Prince George’s Hospital System – both asked last week for the postponement of hearings on a $2 million payment to Dimensions, reports Daniel Fowler of The Examiner. Hearings were scheduled to begin September 10. Recently, a Circuit Court judge ordered the County to pay Dimensions $2 million to keep the hospital running but County officials have refused to make the payment until four members of the Dimensions board of directors resign and is appealing the decision.
