21 Congregations to Celebrate Labor

Twenty-one churches and synagogues throughout the Metro DC area have already signed up to participate in the annual Labor in the Pulpits, Labor on the Bimah, and Labor on the Minbar programs. The annual programs celebrate worker justice during weekend Labor Day services. Participating congregations include: Adas Israel Congregation, Allen Chapel AME Church, Berwyn Presbyterian, Bet Mishpachah, Church of the Epiphany, Congregation Adat Reyim, Congregation Beth Emeth, Congregation Etz Hayim, Covenant Baptist Church, First Trinity Lutheran Church, Foundry United Methodist Church, Grace Episcopal Church, Kehilat Shalom, Metropolitan Community Church of Northern Virginia, St. David's Parish Episcopal, St. Matthew's Cathedral, St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, St. Thomas Episcopal,  Takoma Park Presbyterian Church, Temple Sinai, and Washington Hebrew Congregation.
