Taxi Drivers Face Uber Trouble

Taxi drivers struck across Europe yesterday to protest the companies that pride themselves on “disrupting” the taxi industry. Drivers in Boston held a “rolling rally” last month, slowing traffic in the city’s center, and taxi rallies have popped up in San Francisco, Cincinnati, and Seattle, too. “It’s making a full-time job into precarious labor,” said San Francisco Cab Drivers Association President Barry Korengold.
