DC Labor FilmFest Double Feature -- and Red Stapler Raffle -- Tonight!

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)Tonight’s DC Labor FilmFest screenings include two comedies, the ever-popular “Office Space” at 7:30p and the classic “Nine to Five” at 9:30p, both at AFI in Silver Spring. The “Office Space” screening, co-sponsored by Union Plus, will be introduced by the OPEIU Local 2 "Rising Stars" young labor activist group, and there will also be a raffle of several Milton-approved red staplers and other Office Space “flair” items. “This is a great opportunity for members of all unions to meet first hand this energetic, enthusiastic group of union members who will be among the leaders of our growing labor movement,” says Bruce Wolf of OPEIU Local 2’s Social Justice Committee. FilmFest t-shirts will be raffled off at both screenings.
