annual DC LaborFest, a month-long celebration of labor arts in the metro area.
The DC Labor FilmFest continues in June.

The LIUNA museum honors a
heritage that began in 1903 when a small group of largely immigrant and
African-American Hod Carriers and Building Laborers overcame hostility, threats
