Friday, May 2, 2014

(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)The Employment Justice Center and Murphy Anderson PLLC recently announced a settlement in a wage and hour case involving service employees who were owed unpaid wages.  Over 100 workers will receive approximately $400,000. However, the EJC reports that a group of thirteen workers who cleaned buildings owned by George Washington University last summer are still owed unpaid wages and damages for their work. "Now, with the help of the EJC and co-counsel John Durkalski of Butsavage & Durkalski, the Bravo workers have filed a lawsuit against Bravo for their unpaid wages," said the EJC.
