Labor FilmFest Ad Deadline Extended(Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)

The deadline for ads in the 2014 DC Labor FilmFest program guide has been extended as planning continues for the 14th annual labor film festival, scheduled for May and June. Email cgarlock@dclaborarchives.org to reserve your space now. Fourteen films about work and workers will anchor the first annual DC LaborFest, a month-long labor cultural, film and arts festival in May that already includes some three dozen events, including the Labor FilmFest, two labor-themed plays, an exhibition of painter Ralph Fassanella’s work, labor poetry at Busboys and Poets and labor history tours, including the just-added tour of the Ben Shahn murals at the VOA. Thousands of LaborFest program guides will be distributed throughout metro Washington: be sure your local’s ad is included by contacting Chris Garlock at cgarlock@dclaborarchives.org or call 202-974-8153.
