members – in town for AFGE’s annual
legislative conference – staged two events
yesterday, rallying at noon (right)
at the U.S. Capitol to demand “Shared
Prosperity, Not Austerity”
and then holding a candlelight vigil at 5p to
remember the lives of fallen
correctional officers Eric Williams, Jose
Rivera and Osvaldo Albarati. A number
of top Congressional allies joined AFGE at
their conference – whose theme is
“big enough to win” – and at the rally
